Falling for Fall

That’s right folks, it’s that time of year again: Fall! The trees are beginning to change colors and the plaid, long sleeve shirts are coming out of storage. As the weather outside continues to cool, keep these fun activities at your local Laurens County farms in mind.

The Cross-Country Farm is having a Halloween Party October 27th from 5pm to 8pm. Dress up with your horse and enter into a costume contest for a chance to see if you are the spookiest among the ghouls and gals! You can even bring a covered dish to share! https://www.facebook.com/CrossCountryFarm/photos/a.1477365702303937/2468045826569248/?type=3&theater

The Palmetto Equestrian Therapeutic Riding Center is having their own Fall Festival filled with horse rides, movies, petting farm, games, face paint, and more! After dark, spooky hayrides will begin. All-inclusive tickets are $20, but for those whose just want to ride the hayrides, tickets are only $10. https://www.facebook.com/events/2012400765717675/

Stewart Farms is celebrating their favorite season with fun packed days for people of all ages. From daytime and nighttime wagon rides to a pumpkin patch 20% bigger than last year! During your visit, you can also find your way through a maze or two and watch as Honey Bees find their way through a maze of their own. http://www.stewartfarms.net/fall/

Rayburn Ridge Farm is having hayride tours around the farm, giving you the opportunity to see all of their animals up close and personal. https://agriculture.sc.gov/agritourism-farms/rayburne-ridge-farm-llc/
