Industry and Agriculture Tour
Mark your calendars for the Annual Laurens County Industry and Agriculture Tour! Spend a fun day learning more about the industry and agriculture thriving in Laurens County! The day starts off with coffee and donuts at the Laurens County Farm Bureau, next a tour at Alupress and then a tour of Teknor Apex before lunch at the Owing's Community Center. The afternoon will consist of a tour of Willis Farm and Windy Knolls Farm, and lastly some ice cream to cool off from a wonderful day! RSVP Required. $20 per person, or $30 per couple!

The Laurens County Youth Livestock Show will be August 23 - 25, 2018 at the Laurens County Exchange Club. There is an opportunity for all 4-Hers at this show, not just livestock exhibitors. There will be a poster contest, art, dog, rabbit, meat goat, dairy, and beef show. Information on each of these shows can be found in the show packet. Quarterly Great Laurens County Clean Up

Get your bags and vests ready to help keep Laurens County Beautiful! Pick your location, call the Chamber (864-833-2716 Dianne Wyatt or firstname.lastname@example.org) and let us know where you will clean up, and how many volunteers. You can stop by the Chamber during business hours to pick up vests, gloves and bags. After, let us know how many bags of trash were collected! Tag your funniest trash picture with the hashtag #keeplaurenscountybeautiful and you could win a prize!

4-H Pinckney Leadership Conference and Camp
If you will be a rising Sophomore or Junior or 7th or 8th grader in the summer and want to make a difference in your community while enhancing your leadership skills, the 4-H Pinckney Leadership Program is for you! You do not have to be a current 4-H member to attend.
Two high school sessions on Clemson University’s campus: June 16 – 22 and July 21 – 27.
Two middle school sessions: June 23 – 28, 2019, at Camp Long- near Aiken, SC and July 14 – 19, 2019 at Camp Bob Cooper- near Summerton, SC (just off I-95)
