Students hop into spring with Laurens County 4-H

1st graders at Thornwell Charter School hopped into spring with Laurens County 4-H and Prince Charming! Students discussed the basic needs of animals and how we as owners can provide them for them. They also discussed what to keep in mind when getting animals as Easter presents. Did you know that rabbit live for 8-12 years? These students do!! They also know that they have to provide those basic needs for the whole life of the animal. Animals and Agriculture is one of the program areas offered through Laurens County 4-H. For more information on programs and projects available, please contact our 4-H Agent, Ashley McCarter, at asmccar@clemson.edu or 864-984-2514 ext 113.
