Congratulations to David Dyal and Family for receiving the "Farm Family of the Year" award at the Laurens County Conservation District's Spotlight on Agriculture event!
Dyal Farm is a cattle farm located in the Ware Shoals region of Laurens County. David Dyal has been in business for over 40 years. It is now a third-generation farm with lots of help from his son Dusty and daughter-in-law Ashley and their two children Trent and Emma Rose, along with his daughter Jill and son-in-law Sam.
The Dylan Family farms 300 acres of owned land and another 300 leased-land. The farm comprises about 120 brood cows and produces approximately 1,500 rolls of hay. Other endeavors include a business assisting other cattlemen with herd health and a wild cattle catching service.
